Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, is seeking an Information Security Engineer to drive security engineering, accreditation, and lifecycle assurance for classified IT systems within the UK. This role collaborates with programme teams, architects, and assurance stakeholders to embed security across the system lifecycle.

The candidate will lead accreditation activities, develop RMADS and security documentation, and ensure ongoing compliance with government and contractor security

Qualifications

• Strong experience securing classified or highly regulated IT environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles including AWS, IaaS, and PaaS.
• Accreditation and ATO experience in regulated environments.
• Ability to obtain UK Security Check clearance with DV eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead Secure by Design implementation across classified IT systems and projects.
• Provide security engineering expertise across the lifecycle from concept to disposal.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments for classified environments.
• Develop and maintain RMADS, Security Cases, and Security Management Plans.
