Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking an experienced Information Management Sector Lead to shape and lead our information, data and digital technology strategy across the business. You will unite leadership, technology and people to deliver value on complex projects.

You will drive the Information Management capability, oversee the CDE, and champion consistent, compliant ways of working while developing high-performing teams and broad stakeholder buy-in across clients and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Strong information management experience on complex projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
• Experience with CDEs, EDMS and collaboration platforms.
• Experience leading teams and developing people.

What will the role look like?

• Shape and deliver our Information Management strategy across the business.
• Lead and develop our Information Management capability, supporting recruitment, mentoring and professional development.
• Oversee our Common Data Environment (CDE) approach and ensure consistent, effective ways of working.
• Support the implementation and improvement of digital platforms including Asite, SharePoint and Teams.
• Lead digital improvement initiatives, using technology and automation to make information more accessible and useful.
• Develop engaging training and knowledge-sharing opportunities for our teams, clients and supply chain partners.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

• Strong Information Management experience within complex projects or programmes.
• Knowledge and practical application of ISO 19650.
• Experience with CDEs, EDMS and collaboration platforms.
• An understanding of construction, engineering and project delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
• A passion for developing people and creating high-performing, collaborative teams.
• A curious, forward-thinking approach and enthusiasm for exploring how digital tools, data and automation can make a difference.
