The Information Governance and Feedback Team is seeking an Information Governance and Feedback Assistant to join a well-established team within Legal and Democratic Services.
The post holder will assist in coordinating the Council's corporate Feedback system to ensure the delivery of the Complaint and Feedback Policy. Additionally, they will support ongoing compliance with Data Protection legislation.
The role involves delivering subject access requests, Freedom of Information requests, managing data protection incidents, and providing advice to staff and customers. The post holder will also be involved in wider Governance arrangements across the Council to help ensure statutory compliance, monitoring, and reporting.
This role requires working to legislative and statutory deadlines. It also involves reviewing and redacting sensitive information, which may include offensive incidents or social care data.
