Job summary

COWI UK&I is seeking an Associate to lead information management and digital delivery leadership on infrastructure and energy projects. The role focuses on ISO 19650 implementation, governance, and ensuring practical, project-aligned information management approaches across mobilisation, delivery and assurance.

The successful candidate will operate within the Digital Delivery Management Team, balancing governance with hands-on engagement and contributing to bids and knowledge sharing across UK&I

Qualifications

• Significant experience in information management and digital delivery leadership within complex, multidisciplinary project environments
• Demonstrable expertise in the ISO 19650 framework and its practical application across procurement, mobilisation, delivery, and assurance stages
• Proven ability to influence outcomes across projects, frameworks, and teams
• Strong understanding of governance, assurance, and quality management, with the ability to balance consistency and flexibility
• Experience contributing to bids, frameworks, or major project mobilisation from an information management perspective
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the credibility to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
• A collaborative leadership style, with a clear commitment to mentoring, capability development, and team resilience

Responsibilities

• Information Management & ISO 19650 Leadership: Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in information management and the ISO 19650 framework across UK&I projects
• Delivery‑Connected Governance & Assurance: Maintain a strong connection to live project delivery and support mobilisation, delivery, and assurance stages
• Discipline Resilience & Capability Development: Strengthen resilience within the Digital Delivery discipline and mentor colleagues across UK&I and international teams
• Contribute to development of internal information management guidance, templates, and best practice
• Represent COWI credibly in technical discussions and support the organisation’s reputation
• Promote a collaborative, pragmatic, and delivery-focused culture aligned with COWI’s values
