Job summary

Lodestone Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced HSE Manager for a busy Oldham manufacturing operation. You will own health, safety and environmental performance, shaping a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.

You will develop and implement HSE policies, lead on risk assessments, investigations and audits, and drive continuous improvement across ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Health, safety and environmental experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and environmental legislation.
• Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations and audits.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001/14001.
• Excellent communicator and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies and management systems across the business.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Plan and conduct inspections, audits, training and inductions for staff and contractors.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure HSE responsibilities are understood and applied.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators and ISO auditors.
