Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is hiring an Inflight Catering Supervisor to join our busy airside team at the UK base. You’ll support front and back of house catering, load equipment, and help deliver safe, high-quality service for passengers on flights.

We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual with a full UK driving licence, able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with colleagues and military personnel to keep service smooth and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble and serve catering items for flight service.
• Load and unload catering equipment and supplies onto aircraft.
• Support front and back of house catering operations.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, presentation and service.
• Operate tills and process customer transactions accurately.
• Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure food is stored, handled and served at the correct temperatures.
• Monitor portion control, presentation, stock and waste levels.
• Replenish food service areas and keep them clean and free from spillages.
• Respond to food and beverage enquiries and special requests.
• Complete daily checklists and compliance documentation accurately.
• Operate vehicles on the airfield safely and efficiently.
• Marshal high-lift vehicles and support airside operations.
• Communicate effectively with military personnel, customers and colleagues.
• Follow all relevant company, food safety, health & safety and security procedures.
• Report accidents, near misses, equipment defects or other concerns to management.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including security requirements.
• Attend team briefings, training and meetings as required.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by management.
