Job summary

Sodexo in the United Kingdom is seeking an Inflight Catering Supervisor to join our airside team, delivering high-quality catering services on board and on the tarmac. You will support both front and back of house operations, load equipment, and help ensure safe, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage food preparation, safety standards and customer transactions, while collaborating with military personnel and colleagues. A full UK driving licence is essential for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble and serve catering items for flight service.
• Load and unload catering equipment and supplies onto aircraft.
• Support front and back of house catering operations.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, presentation and service.
• Operate tills and process customer transactions accurately.
• Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure food is stored, handled and served at the correct temperatures.
• Monitor portion control, presentation, stock and waste levels.
• Replenish food service areas and keep them clean and free from spillages.
• Respond to food and beverage enquiries and special requests.
• Complete daily checklists and compliance documentation accurately.
• Operate vehicles on the airfield safely and efficiently.
• Marshal high-lift vehicles and support airside operations.
• Communicate effectively with military personnel, customers and colleagues.
• Follow all relevant company, food safety, health & safety and security procedures.
• Report accidents, near misses, equipment defects or other concerns to management.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including security requirements.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks related to catering operations.
• Attend team briefings, training and meetings as required.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by management.

• £13.46 + 15% night shift per hour
