Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist - Infectious Diseases to join our cross-functional team. The role focuses on applying ImmTAX platforms and other modalities to develop therapies for chronic infections, including HIV and EBV-related diseases.

You will design and execute experiments, analyze data, and present findings at internal meetings while collaborating with Research and other departments to advance our pipeline.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology or immunology is required.
• Experience with bench-based molecular techniques and cell culture is essential.
• Knowledge of HIV/HBV/EBV biology is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to support project goals within timeframes.
• Analyze data, interpret results and make recommendations for next steps.
• Present results at internal meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
