Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist - Infectious Diseases to contribute to cross-functional efforts applying the ImmTAX platform to novel treatments for chronic infections, including HIV, HBV and EBV-related diseases.

The role involves planning, designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting results in internal forums, with collaboration across Research and other departments. Candidates will work in a bench-based laboratory, gaining exposure to CL3 facilities.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related discipline.
• BSc or MSc with significant work experience in relevant scientific areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to support project goals within defined timeframes.
• Execute experiments using molecular and cellular techniques to address key questions.
• Analyse data, interpret results and make recommendations.
• Proactively expand scientific knowledge and present findings at meetings/conferences.
