Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist in Infectious Diseases to contribute to cross-functional efforts applying the ImmTAX platform and other modalities to develop treatments for chronic infections such as HIV, HBV, and EBV-related diseases. The team participates in multiple stages from target discovery to clinical development and collaborates across Research and other departments.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related discipline and 0–2 years related experience.
• Alternatively, a BSc or MSc with significant work experience in relevant scientific areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to meet project goals within defined timeframes.
• Analyse data, interpret results, and make recommendations.
• Proactively expand scientific/technical knowledge through literature reviews, mentoring, and attending seminars/conferences.
