An exciting opportunity for an experienced Infection Prevention and Control nurse to join the IP&C team as a Band 6. The role involves supporting infection control services, conducting audits, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and practice. Applicants should be registered nurses with infection control experience.
The post holder will assist in the smooth running of the Infection Prevention & Control department, will provide or seek out clinical and managerial advice to nursing and support staff throughout the trust relating to prevention and control of healthcare and communicable infections
The post holder works as a skilled practitioner and will be responsible for the development and delivery of an effective Infection Prevention & Control audit and surveillance programme focusing on alert organisms.
