You will have the opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional patient care to our young people, while also supporting and mentoring junior nursing staff. You will act as a role model, support the running of shifts, and coordinate nursing duties within the team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated and proactive nursing professional, ideally with some experience of working with children and young people, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Individuals who do not have direct inpatient CAMHS experience but are able to demonstrate significant experience in other transferable areas of mental health or paediatrics are encouraged to apply.
As a Senior Nurse Practitioner, you will be an integral part of the senior leadership and multidisciplinary team, helping us to deliver high standards of care to the young people we serve.
You will support the management of a clinical area, including deployment, supervision, teaching of staff/students, and resource management.
You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within the multidisciplinary team. This includes assessing the needs of young people, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programmes, and ensuring adherence to treatment and risk management plans.
You will undertake assessments of referred young people as required and develop, implement, and evaluate care programmes, setting standards of care across clinical areas.
You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and maintain good working relationships with community CAMHS and social care colleagues.
