Job Opportunity: Band 6 Nurse - Infection Prevention and Control

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, experienced Adult Registered Nurse with current UK NMC Registration to join our Infection Prevention and Control team. The team provides services across Acute Care, Women’s and Children’s Services, and the Health and Social Care Partnership. The team is based at Victoria Hospital but delivers expertise across all NHS Fife sites and care homes.

We are seeking a candidate with a first-level degree and a post-registration qualification in Infection Prevention and Control (or willing to work towards one). Applicants should have comprehensive general nursing experience, evidence of teaching, and experience at Band 6.

The role involves promoting best practices, providing specialist advice, delivering education and training, participating in audits, analyzing data, and preparing reports. Travel between NHS Fife sites and care homes is essential.

This is a part-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, with weekend, public holiday, and on-call responsibilities.
