Job summary

Childbase Partnership seeks a Team Leader for the Redbourn nursery, supporting 0-1 year olds. This permanent, full-time role covers 40 hours per week across 52 weeks, with varied shifts Mon-Fri 07:30-18:30 and options for a 4 or 5 day week.

You will be a qualified early years professional, lead a room-based team, plan activities in line with EYFS, safeguard children, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• DfE approved early years qualification at level 3 or above.
• Knowledge of EYFS to plan and deliver high-quality activities.
• Experience promoting safeguarding and child welfare.
• Collaborative leadership to empower the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a room-based team for 0-1 year olds.
• Plan and implement high-quality activities promoting learning through play.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress as part of EYFS.
• Safeguard and promote children's well-being and safety.
