Qualifications

Registered Midwife with current UK Registration.
Evidence of leadership experience in maternity settings.
Train the trainer or equivalent.
Evidence of education in the theoretical and practical teaching of breastfeeding mothers.

Responsibilities

Coordinate development and implementation of the infant feeding strategy across maternity services.
Provide expert leadership and support for staff in infant feeding practices.
Monitor, audit, and report progress of the infant feeding strategy to the service.
Lead the infant feeding team and coordinate with Breastfeeding Clinic and other feeding support services.
Develop and evaluate an infant feeding training programme meeting Baby Friendly Initiative standards.
