HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Production Technician for a plastics manufacturer in Tilbury, Essex. The role involves operating and maintaining production machinery on a fast-paced line, supporting changeovers, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Candidates should have experience with plastics processing, especially injection and blow moulding, and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills on all levels.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a fast paced production facility.
• Experience with plastics processing (injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion).

Responsibilities

• Manage, operate and maintain production machinery.
• Ensure products are manufactured adhering to the production schedule.
• Perform preventative and corrective minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Execute production changeovers and initiate start-up processes.
• Visually inspect completed products or use camera systems for verification.
• Conduct regular quality assessments.
• Adhere to company safety standards while ensuring a clean and organised workspace.

Location:Tilbury, Essex
Hours:12 Hour Shifts, 2 days, 2 Nights, 4 Off
Salary:From£32,000 (Dependant on experience and negiotiable for candidates with strong experience)

HRGO Recruitment is on the hunt for a Production Technicianfor our client based in Tilbury, Essex.

Our client is part of a global manufacturing firm, supplying to a variety of major brands.

We are looking foran experienced Techncian with experience working with plastics who is logical and real team player to ensure our client’s fast paced production line goes smoothly.

Main Responsibilities of a Process Technician:

• Manage, operate and maintain production machinery.
• Ensure productsare manufactured adheringto the production schedule.
• Perform preventative and corrective minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Execute production changeovers and initiate start-up processes.
• Visually inspect completed products or use camera systems for verification.
• Conduct regular quality assessments
• Adhere to company safety standards while ensuring a clean and organisedworkspace.

Experience & Background

• Must have experience in a fast paced production facility.
• Experience with packaging / plastics (Injection Moudling, Blow Moulding, Extrusion etc)
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations

Technical Skills

• Experience with tool changes and planned maintenance is a plus
