Job summary

Spectra Packaging Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom is hiring a full-time Extrusion Blow Moulding Technician to join a three-shift rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am). You will support the shift team, follow procedures, and help maintain quality standards across the blow moulding line.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned tool and colour changes on extrusion blow moulding machines.
• Fault finding and making process adjustments to meet set specifications.
• Ensure optimum processes are established and maintained.
• Follow company procedures while supporting the shift team.
• Ensure products meet set quality standards.
• Report machine or quality faults to management promptly.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Carry out other production tasks efficiently while upholding ISO and health & safety standards.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Extrusion Blow Moulding Technician to work on a three-shift rotation basis – 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the shift team on a day-to-day basis whilst following company procedures and ensuring compliance with the quality standards set.

You will ensure that optimum processes are established and maintained whilst being able to demonstrate high levels of technical competence. This is an exciting and versatile role within the department.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Carry out planned tool and colour changes on extrusion blow moulding machines.
• Fault finding and making process adjustments as and when required to ensure components are within set specifications.
• Ensure optimum processes are established and maintained.
• Following company procedures, whilst supporting the shift team.
• Ensuring products meet with set quality standards.
• Report any machine or quality faults as soon as possible to management.
• Ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• To carry out all other production activities as efficiently as possible, adhering to the highest quality ISO and health & safety standards.

You will be:

• Experienced within an engineering or mechanical background. (Experience within the plastics industry in a similar role is desirable although not essential as training will be given).
