• Technically qualified in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or similar Engineering environment or time-served in the industry.
• Proven track record in Account Management or sales within a water/process treatment company or industrial plant.
• Knowledge of specialty water and process chemicals and monitoring technologies.
• Proven experience leading and developing Account Management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Account Management teams to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients in the water and process treatment sectors.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with major customers across multiple markets.
• Drive new business development and market expansion initiatives.
• Oversee project delivery and ensure exceptional customer service standards.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to deliver water technology solutions.
• Report on performance metrics and provide strategic insights to senior management.

Industrial Water Treatment Account Manager

West Midlands

Full-Time, Monday to Friday (37 hours)

Salary up to £45k dependent on experience

What will I be doing?

What you will bring to the role:

• Strong value delivery and selling strategies with a demonstrated history of winning new accounts and developing markets
• Knowledge of specialty water and process chemicals and associated monitoring technologies
• Proven experience leading and developing Account Management teams

Qualifications

• Outstanding ability to build and develop relationships with customers whilst supporting multiple managers and teams
• Exceptional communication skills across all platforms with natural customer service excellence
• Motivated, goal-orientated and well-organised with excellent time management and prioritisation abilities
• Demonstrated project management experience with a track record of exceeding targets
• Enthusiastic, responsible team player with a positive attitude towards product and personal learning
• Valid UK driving licence
