Job Description:

Peterborough (Site based)

12-month assignment (high chance of extension)

As a Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting testing on validation test beds to sign off components and engines.

Responsibilities of the Diesel Engine Test & Validation Engineer:

• Create detailed test plans, execute testing activities, analyze results, and document findings with clear recommendations for process partners.
• Carry out complex engine validation tests.
• Evaluate products and processes; perform needs analysis and initiate improvements.
• Stay updated on new technologies or develop new ones.
• Communicate technical information to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Experience in validation of engines and engine systems.
• Proficiency with testbed software, calibration tools, emissions measuring equipment, and data logging systems.
• Hands-on engine testing and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related field.
