Job summary

PJT Partners in London is recruiting an Associate for the Strategic Advisory Industrials team. The role involves evaluating mergers and acquisitions, structuring strategic alternatives, leading due diligence, and preparing client-facing analyses and models.

You will work with senior bankers and analysts on live transactions across the industrials sector. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in investment banking with M&A exposure, strong financial modelling skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and 3+ years of investment banking experience with a focus on M&A.
• Experience with equity, debt financing and strategic advisory.
• Knowledge of the Industrials industry and related transactions.
• Ability to develop operating and valuation models for complex deals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and structure mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alternatives.
• Lead due diligence, valuation analysis, and contract negotiations; coordinate with management and analysts.
• Prepare written analyses and client presentations.
• Mentor juniors and participate in client meetings and negotiations.
