Job summary

EPC-UK is seeking a Site Maintenance Technician / Fitter at Rough Close Works in the United Kingdom. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing plant, process equipment and fleet vehicles, ensuring safety, compliance and uptime.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification is required.
• Experience as a mechanical fitter or maintenance technician in industrial settings.
• Experience maintaining heavy vehicles and equipment (HGV/MEMUs).
• Familiar with permit-to-work and safe isolation procedures.
• Welding and fabrication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of MEMUs and ADR requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and process equipment.
• Inspect, repair and service HGVs, MEMUs, and mobile plant.
• Follow permit-to-work and isolation procedures; ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare vehicles for testing and maintain records.
• Identify improvements for efficiency, safety and performance.
