Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc seeks an operator/t driver to cover the East Yorkshire and Humberside area. You will join a team of 20+ operators and 3 tanker drivers, travel and stay away from home, and perform high pressure jetting cleaning after surface prep.

The role requires confined-space work, a Full UK driving licence, and safety certifications. Training and development are provided, with a focus on safety and RAMS.

Qualifications

• Must have Full UK driving licence.
• Experience or ability to work in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home for extended periods.
• Commitment to safe working practices and RAMS awareness.

Responsibilities

• Work in a large team of operators and tanker drivers on customer sites.
• Travel and stay away from home as required by deployments.
• Perform high pressure jetting cleaning after surface preparation.
• Clean ERF sites during shutdowns (up to 6 weeks).
• Stay away from home and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Job description

You will work within a large team of 20+ operators and 3 tanker drivers, covering the East Yorkshire/Humberside area carrying out work on customer sites, you will also be expected to travel and stay away from home.

• Working in confined spaces for both long and short periods of time depending on the type of work
• Prepping surfaces before performing high pressure jetting cleaning
• Cleaning our ERF sites during shutdowns which can take up to 6 weeks at a time, We're also committed to ensuring that all applicants and colleagues receive fair treatment without discrimination on any grounds, aiming to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. Must be prepared to work away from home for extended periods of time and to work flexible hours, evenings, nights and weekends., Full UK driving licence
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• Must be prepared to travel locally to the main depot and be prepared to stay away from home.

• City and Guilds High-Risk Confined Space training
• City and Guilds High-Pressure Water Jetting training with modules (Surface Preparation, tubes & bundles and drain cleaning)

In this role, we'll provide you with training in Breathing Apparatus, Safety Awareness, Chemical Awareness, Understanding RAMS, First Aid and Confined Space Entry (if applicable).
