Job Title: Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer (North)
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer (North) to cover various customer locations throughout the Hampshire & Dorset region.
Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively deliver engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses, covering equipment such as Recip, Scroll, Screw compressor packs, including Ammonia, CO2 & HFC/HFO installations.
- Perform service and reactive breakdown cover during normal working hours, with support for out-of-hours work via a standby rota.
- Ensure internal and client support functions meet customer and business requirements.
- Support engineering tasks with appropriate commercial awareness and business system compliance.
- Maintain quality standards for each engineering task, ensuring all practices adhere to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector and customer expectations.
- Relevant technical competencies and certificates, e.g., 2079 Refrigerant Handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.
- Completed a recognized training course or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
- Good knowledge of maintenance and service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
- Experience with large central plant diagnosis and fault-finding, including refrigeration compressors such as Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom, etc.
