We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer to cover various customer locations throughout the South Coast.
Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively deliver engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses, covering a variety of equipment such as Recip, Scroll, Screw compressor packs, including Ammonia, Co2 & HFC/HFO Installations.
- Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal working hours, supporting out-of-hours work through a standby rota.
- Observe internal and client support functions to meet customer and business objectives.
- Ensure engineering tasks are supported with appropriate commercial awareness and business system compliance.
- Maintain quality standards for each engineering task in support of contract responsibilities, following all practices at all times.
- Conform to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector and customer expectations.
- Relevant technical competencies and certificates, e.g., 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.
- Completed a recognized training course or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
- Good knowledge of maintenance and service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
- Experience in diagnosing and fault-finding on large central plant installations, including compressors like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom, etc.
