Base pay range

We are recruiting for an Industrial Project Manager for a leading Aerospace organisation based on site in Broughton.

As part of the Wing Value Stream Management (VSM) organisation, you will contribute to ensuring that all changes in the supply chain are integrated and robustly managed, to secure the continuity in the flow of parts required by the plants or the Final Assembly Lines (FALs) to assemble the wings for the Single Aisle (SA) Programme.

You will represent the Programme in the Procurement commodities, supporting the Multi-Functional Team (MFT) in defining the commodity strategy, enabling relevant projects according to Programme priorities, and contributing to supplier performance management.

You will report to the Head of Work Packages and Transfer of Work Management.

Responsibilities include:

1. Contributing to the definition of the Procurement Commodity strategy, considering SA Programme and VSM requirements, and developing a roadmap.
2. Prioritising and enabling projects in the Procurement Plan aligned with Programme/VSM priorities.
3. Communicating the Programme/VSM Strategy to Suppliers and supporting procurement teams in its implementation, while providing performance feedback.
4. Supporting the MFT in tender processes, including validating key business terms, assessing bidders’ answers, and defining recommendations for stakeholders.
5. Monitoring supply chain projects to ensure robust implementation, identifying and mitigating risks to prevent disruptions in Broughton.
6. Supporting MFTs in managing supplier claims and related risks, coordinating with Programme/Finance.
7. Monitoring supply chain performance, resolving industrial issues impacting Broughton plant or FALs (quality and supply topics).
8. Identifying and collating impacts related to suppliers’ non-performance to support company claims.

Required Skills:

• Experience managing suppliers and working with MRP planning systems.
• Experience with industrial and quality management systems.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with experience in product change management or transfer of work being a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders and challenging appropriately (English negotiation level).

This is an umbrella contract, role inside IR35.
