Job summary

Escape is seeking a Project Engineer in East Lothian to lead site improvement initiatives within an established industrial engineering team. You will specify and implement projects, drive innovative solutions, and ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will collaborate with plant colleagues, contractors and project teams, acting as front-line supervisor on projects while upholding health and safety and providing SME input across the

Qualifications

• Experience delivering site improvement projects.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and delivery focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop project proposals and plans with timescales and requirements.
• Own planning and delivery for assigned projects.
• Manage issues and escalations to resolution.
• Supervise project teams and motivate delivery.
• Provide regular project health reports within the portfolio.
• Support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.
• Assist with audits and investigations and ensure safety compliance.
