Job summary

Peace Recruitment Group Ltd is working with an established civil engineering contractor to appoint a Senior Site Engineer / Section Engineer for a long-term infrastructure project in East Lothian.

The successful candidate will set out and check works, manage QA and ITPs, supervise RC concrete and drainage civils, coordinate subcontractors and mentor junior engineers. Independence and responsibility for a package of works are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong site engineering or section engineering background.
• Solid civil engineering and infrastructure project experience.
• Experience with structural concrete, drainage and civils.
• Good QA knowledge and documentation practices.
• Independent with responsibility for a package of works.
• Experience in energy, water, or major infra projects is beneficial.

Peace Recruitment are working with an established civil engineering contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Engineer / Section Engineer for a long-term infrastructure project in East Lothian.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and checking works
• QA, ITPs and as-built documentation
• RC concrete and structural civils
• Drainage and associated infrastructure works
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team

We’re looking for

• Strong Site Engineer / Section Engineer experience
• A solid background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Experience with structural concrete, drainage and general civils
• Good knowledge of QA and technical documentation
• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for a package of works
• Previous experience within energy, water or major infrastructure projects would be beneficial
