Job summary

Evolito Ltd in Oxfordshire offers a 12‑month Engineering Analysis Industrial Placement Programme for motivated engineering students. You’ll work on live customer projects from day one and gain hands‑on experience in aerospace propulsion technologies.

You’ll analyse structural, modal and thermal aspects of electric motor components, prepare CAD geometry for FEA, assist in test design and contribute to design improvements with guidance from industry experts.

Qualifications

• Working student studying Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Science or related discipline.
• Must be in industrial placement year as part of course.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and interest in simulation and analysis.
• Exposure to finite element analysis through university or projects.
• Creative, analytical, collaborative and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work on live customer projects from day one with experienced engineers.
• Support structural, modal and thermal analyses of motor components.
• Prepare CAD geometry for FEA and assess results against requirements.
• Help design tests, fixtures and samples for validation.
• Contribute to concepts improving product performance and manufacturability.

Whatyou’lldo

As a member of our 12-month Engineering Analysis Industrial Placement Programme,you’llwork alongside experienced engineers on live customer projects from day one.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Support structural, modal and thermal analyses of electric motor components and assemblies
• Prepare CAD geometry for finite element analysis and assess results against engineering requirements
• Help design tests, fixtures and samples used to validate engineering analyses
• Contribute to concepts that improve product performance, durability and manufacturability
• Support material selection, root cause analysis and the production of technical reports and recommendations
• Receive mentoring and support throughout the programme

You could be involved in projects across:

• Geometry Preparation & Meshing
• Physical Test Correlation & Validation

Whatwe’relookingfor

We’re looking for motivated students who:

• Are studying Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Science or a related discipline
• Need to complete an industrial placement year as part of their course
• Have a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and an interest in simulation and analysis
• Have some exposure to finite element analysis through university or practical projects
• Are creative, analytical, collaborative and eager to learn
