Job summary

Evolito Limited, based in Oxfordshire, invites engineering students to join its 12-month Engineering Analysis Industrial Placement Programme. You will work on live customer projects from day one, performing analyses and contributing to designs with mentoring from seasoned engineers.

You'll gain hands-on experience in FEA, structural and thermal analysis, CAD preparation, and test design while developing practical skills that advance aerospace propulsion technology and sustainable aviation.

Qualifications

• Mech/AE student seeking 12-month industrial placement.
• Must be able to complete an industrial placement year as part of the course.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and analysis techniques.
• Exposure to finite element analysis through university or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support structural, modal and thermal analyses of motor components and assemblies.
• Prepare CAD geometry for FEA and assess results against requirements.
• Help design tests, fixtures and samples for validating analyses.
• Contribute to concepts that improve product performance, durability and manufacturability.
• Support material selection, root cause analysis and production of technical reports.

What you'll do

As a member of our 12-month Engineering Analysis Industrial Placement Programme, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on live customer projects from day one. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Support structural, modal and thermal analyses of electric motor components and assemblies
• Prepare CAD geometry for finite element analysis and assess results against engineering requirements
• Help design tests, fixtures and samples used to validate engineering analyses
• Contribute to concepts that improve product performance, durability and manufacturability
• Support material selection, root cause analysis and the production of technical reports and recommendations
• Receive mentoring and support throughout the programme

You could be involved in projects across:

What we're looking for

We're looking for motivated students who:

• Are studying Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Science or a related discipline
• Need to complete an industrial placement year as part of their course
• Have a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and an interest in simulation and analysis
• Have some exposure to finite element analysis through university or practical projects
• Are creative, analytical, collaborative and eager to learn
