Job summary

Bentley invites applications for an Industrial Placement in Mulliner at our Crewe HQ. You will gain hands-on experience by working on high-impact projects, mentored by Talent Acquisition professionals, and contributing to the Mulliner strategy.

Based in Crewe with a hybrid arrangement (minimum 3 days in the office) and UK travel for events. A starting salary of £25,500 is offered, along with mentorship and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a 2:1 in Business Management or Marketing.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Willingness to travel for UK events.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning process of bespoke vehicles and subsequent order generation and processing.
• Departmental reporting updates and process improvement activity identification based on insights gained.
• Help develop and support enhanced experiences and events for our top clients.
• Collaborate with Mulliner team to support PR and marketing activity with Bentley teams and agency partners.
• Set up meetings with internal and regional teams, take minutes and communicate actions and outputs.
• You will have the opportunity to pitch your own ideas and bring them to life.

About the role:

As an Industrial Placement Student at Bentley, you will play a key part in Bentley’s journey to creating extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe. You will:

• Gain invaluable experience in managing high-impact projects, develop a deep understanding of cutting-edge technology, and play a key role in driving our Mulliner Strategy,
• Work alongside and be mentored by Industry Leading Talent Acquisition professionals,
• Have the opportunity to pitch your own ideas and being able to bring them to life.
• Have varied tasks throughout the year, depending on the business needs and what support the team requires, being able to use a variety of different skills and developing well rounded transferable skills.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Supporting the commissioning process of bespoke vehicles and subsequent order generation and processing

• Collaborating with the wider Mulliner team to support PR and marketing activity whilst working alongside the Bentley marketing team and agency partners

About the Department:

Mulliner is the bespoke division of Bentley. We are the team who brings to life the bespoke requests of our most discerning clients, enabling the highest levels of personalisation, well beyond the standard options list. We create new features, options, paint colours and personalised elements for our cars to make sure they are perfect for their owners. Additionally, Mulliner creates one-off cars, small celebratory collections, as well as ultra-low volume, highly exclusive Coachbuilt cars like the Bacalar, Batur, Speed Six and Blower vehicles for clients wanting something exceedingly rare and special.

Working within the Mulliner team will expose you to the best luxury cars in the world. You will develop an understanding of the luxury buyer, whilst working alongside and being mentored by industry leading professionals.

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Business Management or Marketing related degree. Skills required for the role:
