Job summary

Caterpillar Stafford is offering a 12 Month Industrial Placement Scheme in Manufacturing Engineering – Technical Services, located in Stafford. Salary £26,000 plus share scheme, pension and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

You will work across our sites on strategic projects, receive a workplace mentor, and have the chance to fast-track to our graduate development scheme based on performance and a 2:2 honours degree requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 honours degree in a relevant discipline.
• Onsite five days a week.
• Penultimate year or enrolled in an integrated master’s program.

Responsibilities

• Operational efficiency support
• Developing and installing new control processes to maintain repeatability
• Compliance process development activities
• Identifying & delivering opportunities for process & facility improvements
• Project Management
• Re-configuring existing assets and processes to improve flow, efficiency and product quality
• Investigating new, innovative technologies and solutions which can be utilised for production processes.
