Job summary

Stantec in Belfast is seeking an Industrial Placement Civil Engineer for Summer/Autumn 2027. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions and develop engineering knowledge while working with major water clients.

You will analyze data, use Excel to spot trends, and contribute to calculations and assessments to support projects, while communicating with colleagues and partners to keep initiatives on track.

Qualifications

• Mid-way through a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Keen interest in the water industry and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and contribute to project work.

Responsibilities

• Work with data and Excel to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Perform calculations and assessments to support projects.
• Communicate with colleagues and external partners to keep projects on track.
• Attend meetings and, when needed, visit project sites to gather data.
