Job summary

Miller’s Vanguard is seeking an industrial parts cleaner for their workshop team at Mossfield Mill. The role focuses on cleaning bakery and catering equipment to a high standard, both independently and as part of a tight-knit group.

You will work 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with training and progression opportunities through our City & Guilds accredited academy. We value detail, integrity, teamwork, and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• To work in a jet wash bay cleaning machines and parts ready for refurbishment.

• Load cages for paint removal
• Organising machinery for next stage of process
• Always keeping work areas clear
• Carry out any reasonable ad hoc duties requested by the workshop manager.

Miller’s Vanguard, a Specialist Maintenance Provider for Bakery & Catering Equipment, are looking for an industrial parts cleaner to join their workshop-based team at Mossfield Mill. The purpose of the role is primarily the cleaning of Bakery & Catering equipment. Whilst working individually for the most part, the successful candidate will also be part of a strong team, working together to meet targets and maintain quality of the highest standard, providing reliable assets to some of the UK’s leading supermarkets.

Duties to Include:

• To work in a jet wash bay cleaning machines and parts ready for refurbishment.
• Operating overhead cranes when required to aid in increasing production efficiencies
• Load cages for paint removal
• Organising machinery for next stage of process
• Always keeping work areas clear
• Carry out any reasonable ad hoc duties requested by the workshop manager.
