Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanical Engineer in the Harlow area to join a busy workshop team. You will inspect, repair, rebuild and test a range of industrial mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, fans and blowers.

A strong hands-on background and fault diagnosis ability are essential. The role requires working with three-phase motors and associated systems, with a UK driving licence and good English communication.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in pump and/or electrical motor repair.
Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical/mechanical engineering.
Full UK driving licence.
Good spoken and written English.
Right to work in the UK.
Experience with three-phase motors and associated equipment desirable.

Responsabilités

Strip, inspect and repair industrial motors and machinery.
Diagnose mechanical faults and identify required repairs.
Repair and rebuild single and three-phase electric motors.
Work on industrial pumps, including freshwater and sewage pumps.
Repair and service industrial gearboxes.
Inspect and repair industrial fans and blower units.
Carry out mechanical assembly and disassembly.
Assist with testing and commissioning of repaired equipment.
Work with electrical controls and related systems as needed.
Maintain high workmanship and safety standards.
Complete work efficiently and to quality standards.
Collaborate with workshop and engineering team; attend customer sites when required.
