Job summary

Evapco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production and facility equipment in a UK shop. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and performing a variety of mechanical, electrical, and fabrication tasks, with responsibilities including PM scheduling and inventory documentation using MPulse.

You will work in a hands-on environment, adherence to safety procedures, and overtime may be required. A valid driver's license is preferred to assist with parts pickup.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background in an industrial setting including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Basic electrical knowledge and willingness to learn single- and three-phase power (including 480V).
• Able to read engineering drawings and use calipers or micrometers.
• Know, understand and use lockout tagout procedures.
• Willingness to take internal or external training as required.

Responsibilities

• Basic troubleshooting and repair of production machinery.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls during off hours.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Perform plumbing, welding, construction, and electrical projects.
• Assist in other areas of the shop as required.
• Abide by all shop guidelines.
• Maintain and repair production machinery, equipment, vehicles, tools, and tooling.
• Use MPulse software to document work and inventory; procure repair parts and supplies.
• Perform scheduled PM based on MPulse scheduling.
• Conduct periodic grounds and facility maintenance as required.
• Manage janitorial and lawn services as needed.
• Snow removal using plow trucks or skid loader; may be called in off hours.
• Salt parking lots and outside production areas as needed.
• Participate in safety committee recommendations.
