Job summary

Altera Recruitment Group is supporting a specialist industrial and process manufacturing business in the appointment of a Maintenance Manager. This is a site-based leadership role with responsibility for a multidisciplinary maintenance team across a technically complex operation, delivering reliability and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will lead planned and reactive maintenance, manage budgets, oversee contractors and safety/compliance, and develop the team to maximise plant

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management experience in industrial/manufacturing/process environments.
• Proven ability to drive maintenance strategies and improvements.
• Experience with CMMS, permit-to-work systems and safe isolation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the site's maintenance team across mechanical, electrical and multiskilled groups.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, PPM, CBM and breakdown response to maximise availability.
• Plan outages with resource planning, contractor coordination and budget control.
• Manage contractors, critical spares, budgets and the CMMS for the site.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement while upholding HS&E and regulatory compliance.
