Job summary

Altera Recruitment Group, on behalf of an established organisation in Stoke on Trent, is seeking an Electrical Technician for a hands-on role in a complex industrial plant. The position demands fault finding, preventative and reactive maintenance, and independence within a safety-critical environment.

You will maintain electrical systems, diagnose faults from drawings, and support outages and projects, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Time served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in industrial maintenance with fault finding.
• blity to read electrical drawings and diagnose faults.
• blity to work independently in safety-critical environment.
• Experience with HV up to 33kV would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and electrical inspections across plant and equipment, identifying and resolving defects before they impact operations.
