Job summary

Qualifications

• Level 2 certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering or equivalent.
• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.
• Familiar with health, safety and hygiene regulations in a kitchen.
• Able to speak with confidence in English.
• Refresher training in food safety (HACCP) every three years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of offenders to prepare and cook nutritious meals for the prison.
• Contribute to helping offenders learn new skills and gain qualifications to improve employment prospects.
