Job summary

Air Products in Didcot is seeking PG and Helium Operators to safely control filling activities at the depot, operating pumps, moving cylinders, and loading cylinders into pallets, following Air Products procedures.

The role includes completing process documentation, ensuring product quality, performing dewar tasks, and working rotating shifts. Candidates should have experience in similar environments and strong teamwork and safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• It literate, with experience using SAP, Microsoft Office applications, and handheld devices. Experience with PACT would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely controlling filling activities at the depot in accordance with procedures.
• Operating electrical motors, cryogenic and non-cryogenic pumps, and loading cylinders into pallets.
• Carrying out loading activities using a forklift truck and completing process documentation.
• Performing cylinder and dewar inspection, cleaning, painting, labeling, and minor maintenance.
• Maintaining safe working practices and reporting faults or unsafe conditions.
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet production and customer service requirements.
