Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is offering a 12‑month Industrial Placement in Skinningrove for Engineering students. You will join the Engineering team and work on real improvement projects, supporting Lean manufacturing and digitalisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be in penultimate year or enrolled in integrated master’s program.
• Minimum 2:2 honours in a relevant discipline such as Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work on real improvement projects within the Engineering team.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and efficiency improvements.
• Contribute to the Facility Modernisation and Digital & Automation Strategy.
• Interact with multiple departments and stakeholders across Caterpillar facilities.
