Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer for the Sherburn-in-Elmet site. The role is full-time and permanent, working Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, to drive operational excellence through data-led decisions and process improvement.

You will conduct time and motion studies, develop KPI dashboards, and lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, service and safety within a large-scale logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma and CI methodologies to logistics or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills with time/motion studies and process mapping.
• Ability to produce dashboards and actionable performance insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain measurement systems and KPIs for operational excellence.
• Lead time studies and process analyses to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methods.
• Analyse data to create dashboards and support data-driven decisions.
• Manage CI projects from concept to implementation with stakeholder engagement.
