Job summary

Tata Technologies Europe Ltd. at Wolverhampton's ER&D department is seeking an Industrial Engineering/Process Improvement professional.

You will analyze operations, translate challenges into practical improvements, and support delivery of new products and manufacturing programmes in a fast-paced environment. You will work with project and site management, carry out time studies, line balancing, and drive cost reduction, quality, safety, and productivity through continuous improvement

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Industrial Engg (preferred) / Mechanical, Automobile, Production Engg or equivalent experience.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven approach to evaluate operations and deliver measurable improvements.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and problem-solving for process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project and site management to review operational performance and report findings.
• Support STD Work, 5S, TPM, JIT and Mistake Proofing initiatives.
• Carry out time studies and line balancing for work estimation sheets.
• Identify process improvements to reduce throughput time and boost productivity.
• Lead cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.
• Monitor and report KPI performance and drive Work content estimation and simplification.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs and new operations processes.
