Job summary

Gordon Murray Group is seeking an Industrial Engineer - Operations to own and improve end-to-end industrial performance across Structures, Paint, Assembly and End of Line. You will drive HPC, CPU, standard labour content, capacity and line balance with data-driven actions.

Working with Manufacturing Engineering and cross-functional teams, you will deliver tangible productivity improvements, cost reduction opportunities and robust manufacturing processes aligned to Quality, Cost and Delivery

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with HPC, CPU, capacity planning and productivity gains.
• Experience with FMEA, Kaizen and Lean methods.
• Ability to create clear performance reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Govern and improve end-to-end industrial engineering performance across structures, paint, assembly and end of line.
• Own HPC and standard labour content across the vehicle manufacturing value stream.
• Analyze CPU and identify cost reduction opportunities with quantified benefits.
• Develop glidepaths for HPC/CPU, including timing, benefits and owners.
• Translate volumes into labour, headcount, capacity and shift requirements.
• Perform time analyses, line balancing, takt and capacity assessments.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plans and process development activities.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen/A3 and data-led problem solving.
