Morson Edge is recruiting an Industrial Engineer to be based at Middle Wallop for our aerospace clients on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on applying industrial engineering to improve efficiency, optimize workflows, support production planning, and enhance process performance in a regulated aerospace setting.

Reporting to the Production and Support Engineering Manager, you will work with engineering, production, quality, and operations teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or operations improvement.
• Experience analyzing processes, workflows, or production systems.
• Experience using data to support process improvement and decision-making.
• Experience developing production schedules and precedence networks.

Responsibilities

• Analyse production and operational processes to identify efficiency, flow, cost and quality improvements.
• Develop and improve manufacturing and support processes, methods, and resource use.
• Support production planning, line flow analysis, workload balancing and capacity assessments.
• Assist with time studies, process mapping, and standard work development.
• Use data to identify bottlenecks and lean improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of process changes and work instructions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve execution.
• Develop and maintain production schedules for program execution.
