Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support aerospace MRO activities based at Middle Wallop on a 12-month contract. The role reports to the Production and Support Engineering Manager and focuses on applying industrial engineering principles to improve efficiency, optimize workflows, and assist production planning in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or operations improvement.
• Experience analyzing processes, workflows, or production systems.
• Experience using data to support process improvement, planning, or decision-making.
• Experience developing precedence networks and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Analyse production and operations processes to identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop and improve manufacturing and support processes, methods, and resources.
• Support production planning, workload balancing, line flow analysis, and capacity assessments.
• Assist with time studies, process mapping, and standard work development.
• Evaluate data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for lean improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve process issues and improve execution.
• Support planning and reporting activities related to schedule adherence, productivity, and operational performance.
• Develop layouts, tooling requirements, and facility/process optimization recommendations as needed.
