Job summary
MARCH is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our engineering team on site at the Burton Latimer location. You will install, maintain, and fault‑find across the plant, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operation of equipment and infrastructure.
In this role you will read schematics, work on control panels and motors, and support improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and performance. NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition are essential.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven experience working as an Industrial Electrician within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance across the site.
- Install electrical containment systems (tray, conduit, trunking) and associated supports.
- Wire, modify and maintain control panels; interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Diagnose and resolve faults to minimise downtime and production impact; fault-find single- and three-phase circuits.
- Maintain, test and repair motors, drives and associated equipment.
- Support electrical installation and improvement projects and contribute to plant reliability.
