Job summary
RecruitMe is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a busy plant in Wolverhampton. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across LV systems, motors, control wiring and PLC/DCS-connected equipment. The role offers strong base salary, overtime potential and long-term stability.
Key duties include fault finding, reading technical drawings, and supporting outages. A City & Guilds 2360/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is expected, with experience on motors over 15kVA and
Qualifications
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience is required.
- Experience with motors over 15kVA is preferred.
- Electrical fault-finding experience is essential.
- Control wiring experience is needed.
- Ability to read electrical/technical drawings is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and respond to breakdowns effectively.
Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance of LV systems and motors.
- Testing and keeping records for LV electrical systems.
- Fault finding and defect rectification on electrical equipment.
- Working on motors, control wiring and PLC/DCS-connected equipment.
- Circuit and cable tracing and maintenance records.
