Job summary

EES Contracts is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join a busy project in Runcorn. You will work as part of an installation team, carrying out electrical installation works within a live industrial environment.

The successful candidate will have strong industrial experience, with containment and SWA installation skills, read drawings, and a commitment to safety in a manufacturing setting. This role offers Monday to Friday hours with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as industrial electrician in manufacturing or process environments.
• Valid ECS Electrical Installation Card and IPAF (essential).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong health and safety awareness on industrial sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Installation of industrial containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable ladder
• Installation, glanding, terminating, and testing of SWA cables
• Electrical installation works within a manufacturing environment
• Cable pulling, routing, and dressing of power and control cables
• Installation of electrical equipment, accessories, and distribution systems
• Working from electrical drawings, schematics, and installation specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Liaising with supervisors, engineers, and other site personnel

Role Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join a project within a busy industrial facility in Runcorn. The role will involve working as part of an industrial installation team, carrying out electrical installation works within a live environment.

The successful candidate will have strong industrial experience, with a proven background in containment and SWA installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of industrial containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable ladder
• Installation, glanding, terminating, and testing of SWA cables
• Electrical installation works within a manufacturing environment
• Cable pulling, routing, and dressing of power and control cables
• Installation of electrical equipment, accessories, and distribution systems
• Working from electrical drawings, schematics, and installation specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Liaising with supervisors, engineers, and other site personnel

Requirements

• Valid ECS Electrical Installation Card and IPAF(essential)
• Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, or process environments
• Strong experience with containment systems and SWA cable installation

• Good understanding of health & safety requirements on industrial sites

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working in manufacturing or production facilities
• Experience with machinery installations, power distribution, or control systems

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime opportunities may be available depending on project requirements
