Job summary

Dutton Recruitment is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a long-term contract on a water treatment plant in Basingstoke. The role involves installation of cable containment systems, tray, trunking and ladder rack, cable pulling and glanding, and electrical equipment installation and termination.

You will work from engineering drawings, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Heavy industrial electrical experience essential.
• Experience on water treatment plants, power stations or similar environments advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Evidence of relevant industrial experience on CV.

Responsibilities

• Install cable containment systems (cable tray, trunking, ladder rack).
• Install and terminate electrical equipment.
• Read from engineering drawings and site plans.
• Pull and glanden cables.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician for a long-term contract based on a Water Treatment Plant in Basingstoke.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy industrial project with consistent work and competitive rates of pay.

Rate of Pay is £25.00 per hour (All hours worked Monday to Friday)

The Role

• Installation of cable containment systems
• Cable tray, trunking and ladder rack installation

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Candidate Requirements

• Previous heavy industrial electrical experience is essential.
• Experience working on water treatment plants, power stations, process plants or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
• JIB Gold Card is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
• Evidence of relevant industrial experience must be clearly shown on your CV.
