Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services Ltd in Hampshire is seeking an experienced Electrician for an initial 8-week contract on an industrial/commercial electrical installation project. You will join an established site team to perform installations safely and to a high standard.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, BS7671 18th Edition knowledge, and a diligent approach to health and safety with a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial/commercial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition and on-site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works on an industrial/commercial project.
• Install, maintain and terminate electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings (SLD/BCD).
• Ensure works meet project specs, programme and regulations.
• Work with the Electrical Supervisor and site team.
• Identify and report technical or site issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Follow RAMS and site health & safety procedures.
• Comply with BS7671 / 18th Edition requirements.

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join an industrial and commercial electrical installation project in Hampshire on an initial 8-week contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works safely, efficiently and to a high standard, working as part of an experienced site team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works across an industrial/commercial project
• Install, maintain and terminate electrical systems and equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, including SLD and BCD drawings
• Complete installation works in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations
• Work alongside the Electrical Supervisor and wider site team
• Identify and report any technical or site-based issues
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Follow all site health & safety procedures and RAMS
• Ensure electrical works comply with BS7671 / 18th Edition requirements

Requirements

• Relevant Gold CSCS / ECS Card
• Proven experience working as an Electrician
• Strong industrial and/or commercial electrical installation experience
• 18th Edition BS7671
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work
